The Poetry Machine is making its way around ������ý and Hamilton, N.Y., thanks to ������ý’s Upstate Institute and the University Libraries in partnership with the Adirondack Center for Writing.

Suchi Reddy, ������ý’s 2024–25 Christian A. Johnson Endeavor Foundation Artist in Residence, opened her new exhibit, Bias and Belonging, during Arts, Creativity, and Innovation (ACI) Weekend, April 4–5.

������ý welcomed prolific bio-artist and experimental filmmaker Kathy High ʼ77 as part of the Eric J. Ryan and Film and Media Studies (FMST) Annual New Media Lecture Series, March 11–13.

������ý welcomed internationally acclaimed opera and theater director Francesca Zambello ’78 in late February as the inaugural Clifford Family Innovator in Residence.

On Feb. 12, ������ý celebrated the opening of the Clifford Gallery’s new exhibition from Franco-American artist Suzanne Husky, titled For Alliances with the Beaver People. The exhibition features a singular physical work: an 11-meter-long embroidered tapestry that traces key moments in beaver-human relationships.

This past winter break, the ������ý Thirteen a cappella group embarked on their first trip to China as part of their annual “Jan Tour.”

This year’s Academy Awards was a big night for Alex Coco ’12, producer of Anora, which won five Oscars, including best picture, best director, best actress, best original screenplay, and best editing.

Reverberations, the 2025 Senior Art Exhibition at ������ý’s Clifford Art Gallery, showcases the work of ������ý’s graduating studio art and art history majors, developed as part of their senior capstone courses in the fall.

������ý’s Picker Art Gallery will open its spring exhibition A Thought Is A Thread: Contemporary Artists Reworking Textile Traditions on Feb. 20 at 4:30 p.m. with a public reception.
