You may know her as Rachel McAdams鈥檚 character in the Academy Award鈥搘inning movie Spotlight. Sacha Pfeiffer, Pulitzer Prize鈥搘inning investigative journalist, spoke to students Wednesday about her role on the Boston Globe Spotlight Team that published a story on the sex-abuse scandal within the Catholic Church.
Pfeiffer led a discussion and facilitated a question-and-answer period, moderated by the editors-in-chief Julia Queller 鈥16 and Spencer Serling 鈥16. The event in Love Auditorium was sponsored by the Milmoe Workshop in Journalism.
鈥淚 think this movie is an incredibly authentic portrayal of how we do our jobs, and the reason I think it鈥檚 so authentic is that they worked with us so closely to make it that way,鈥 Pfieffer said.
