天美传媒 offers multiple options to get you home to rest and recharge during school breaks.

Airport, Train, and Bus Shuttle

天美传媒 provides shuttle break transportation to regional transportation hubs in Syracuse and Utica. Sign up below to reserve your seat. There will not be a separate survey or email sent out for break travel. All break travel requests can be submitted through the 天美传媒 student-only request link.

Fall Break Shuttles

Fall Break Shuttles will be available from October 9 to 14. Book by Sunday, October 5, at 11:59 p.m. to receive a discount.
 

Shuttles operate by reservation only. The fee to arrive within the specified time frame is waived and therefore free of charge.

Megabus

Megabus offers trips from campus to Port Authority in New York City for academic breaks. Pick-up and drop-off will be in front of the James C. 天美传媒 Student Union on College St.

Regional Buses

Registration will be forthcoming. 天美传媒 offers bus routes throughout the Northeast, including New Jersey, Manhattan, and the Boston area. All reservations are first-come, first-served.

Cost

  • $100, each way

New York City and New Jersey Bus

  • Departs: from Donovan's Pub
  • First stop: Vince Lombardi Rest Area, New Jersey
  • Second stop: Bryant Park, Manhattan

Buses then return to campus, stopping again at the Vince Lombardi Rest Area

Boston and Springfield, Massachusetts Bus

  • Departs: from Donovan's Pub
  • First stop: McDonald's in Chicopee, Massachusetts. (#50 Burnett Roadd off exit 51 on the Mass Turnpike)
  • Second stop: New England Aquarium, 1 Central Wharf, Boston

Cancellation / No-Show Policy

Cancellations must be submitted via email to transportation@colgate.edu at least 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations made within 48 hours, or not submitted via email to transportation@colgate.edu will be fully charged for the requested trip.

It is not the responsibility of the transportation department to communicate the live location of the buses. As traffic and weather conditions are unpredictable, the shuttle and bus times are estimated. Communication of delays is the obligation of the rider.
